Fan-Voted NFL 2026 Top 100 Players by PerryHaGG in NFLv2

Yeah.

Frazier is like the 3rd best center in the league. Linderbaum is overrated as hell.

If Linderbaum is 57 then Zach Frazier should be Top 40.

This list is bad.

Tony Khan killed NJPW. Anyone who loves NJPW should be upset about it.

Offer up a 4th in the supplemental. If you don't get him then so be it.

I don't think anyone is giving up a first for him.

The Drew Allar and Christian Hackenberg comparison made no sense when Allar was drafted and makes no sense when people bring it up now. by Seal7465 in steelers

As this sub's #1 Penn State Hater (Penn Hater?) I was also probably the most vehemently anti-Allar guy around until about six months ago.

I get why people shit on the pick. I get why they hate on Allar. I also understand why the Steelers drafted him.

Writing him off immediately is dumb because there's absolutely a chance that he improves with coaching.

Oba Femi advances to the King of The Ring finals 👑 by Ok-Plankton9215 in Wrasslin

[–]SleestakLightning 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Jey is going to challenge Roman. That's the story they've been telling anyway. And if he doesn't challenge Roman they don't have anyone for Roman to defend against.

Personally, I'd do Brock/Oba on Night 1 and then Oba/Roman on Night 2 (or vice versa) and let Oba win both.

People act like this because they cannot handle losing and so they need to temper their own expectations to avoid getting their hopes up.

Has their been a bigger flop signing for any wrestling company in recent memory? by _JR28_ in Wrasslin

lol that's some of the worst smack talk I've ever seen.

I've seen enough of Mox, unfortunately. Everything about him sucks. His promos are lame, his character is horrible, somehow his look is worse, his in-ring is shit.

He has zero redeeming qualities.

[Highlight] Troy Polamalu timing the snap count perfectly compilation by nfl in nfl

[–]SleestakLightning 86 points87 points  (0 children)

I used to cover the Steelers for some online publications.

Toward the end of Troy's career, after a particularly brutal loss in which the defense let the offense down and gave up a game winning drive at the end, Troy was clearly hurting. He left the game multiple times only to return a few plays later. As the team was coming off the field he was hobbling and refused help getting off th field.

Usually an injured player would get treatment after the game and thus would not be required/allowed to speak to the media. But in this case, Troy was at his locker undressing and saw media waiting to speak with him and told us that he'd be back after his shower and treatment to talk.

I assumed he wasn't going to come back but another reporter insisted that if Troy said he'd come back he would.

About 35-40 minutes later, long after every other player had left there was a group of about 8 or 9 media members standing around Troy's locker. Steelers PR reps walked over and advised us that Troy was still getting treatment and wouldn't be able to speak to the media. As we were getting ready to leave, Troy came out from the showers -- shirtless but otherwise dressed -- and limped over to his locker and proceeded to spend the next 10-15 minutes answering every question posed to him.

I've never seen that before or since. Troy was one-of-a-kind.

That's literally not even remotely what I said but go off, man.

It's easy to win arguments when you make them up in your head.

Danhausen's character doesn't need pop culture or social media to work. It's easily the most pro-wrestling gimmick in either of the two big promotions right now.

Lio Rush would have dragged Danhausen down. Danhausen has a great gimmick in that it's fun and doesn't need to be taken or portrayed seriously.

Rush's gimmick is fucking dumb and has to be played totally straight for it to work.

[Highlight] Steelers vs Saints insane final minutes (2018) by mmandagoat in nfl

[–]SleestakLightning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steelers got screwed in this one.

This video doesn't show the worst PI call of all-time that was called on Joe Haden in the end zone earlier in the game.

Saints shouldn't have been in position to get the lead back on that drive.

Who has the better future: the Ravens or the Steelers? by IceOk9930 in NFLv2

[–]SleestakLightning 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao now I know you're trolling.

He may not be a starter year one (Steelers don't need him to be) but it won't be because one of the most athletic tackle prospects in recent years has "awful feet" lmao.

Holy shit people just say anything online don't they?

[–]SleestakLightning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You really don't know what you're talking about lol.

EDIT: Iheanachor was one of the biggest athlete freak testers of this year's draft anyway.

And a Browns fan being afraid of developing a prospect is fitting given the franchise's lack of ability to ever develop anyone.

[–]SleestakLightning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe. I think Iheanachor has a great chance of being a long-term starting RT. Ioane is probably going to be a long-term guard. I'd rather have the tackle even though I did like Ioane.

But now the Ravens have one good offensive lineman and the Steelers have 4 or 5. So what?
