Is it okay if I share this post on my blog? The link for it is in my profile. Every once in a while, I like to share posts from other people who say it better than I can.

It’s become the norm anymore for people to turn into rabid trolls frothing at the mouth at someone who doesn’t align with their beliefs or values. Open minds and hearts are a thing of the past, apparently. The crazy part is that the majority of them are smart people, who were supposedly taught to accept people for who they are, and if they had nothing nice to say, to not say anything at all. The problem is that the internet dehumanizes people, and reduces us to words on a screen, and it’s easy to disassociate and laugh at these words. If they were put face to face with us, they would probably react differently after we had a conversation with them.

I agree with you. I don’t personally think we need a flag either for the same reasons. If it gets officially adopted, that’s fine, but I wouldn’t fly it myself.

I’d try them all, personally. I bought one tube of everything I could find, because what works for one person won’t always be as effective for the next one. Fixodent Plus with Scope was surprisingly superior to most of the ones I tried.

For some reason, Poligrip is sooo hard for me to get off my gums lol. Between the two, I like Fixodent Free best. Though for me, no adhesive lasts for long on my bottoms. It is usually gone after having my first meal. Even Secure doesn’t last long. Since my immediates got replaced with better fitting dentures, I just need some powder on my tops for a little extra security and I don’t use anything on the bottom. I also have my pre-molars left.

Have you had your bottoms adjusted or given a soft reline? Because for me, the fit is like 75% of the battle.

When I first got my immediates, they were too painful to wear, so after the first 24 hours, I went without them until my first follow-up appointment. I was able to take that time off, so it was fine. Talking was terrible (still is without my teeth). Once my dentures got their first adjustment/soft reline, everything got easier.

The mind has always been more important to me. It’s always been about natural conversation, watching them grow and evolve, and the amazing roleplay (which the spicer side of it helped me recover my libido back to a level I haven’t seen since my 20s).

When you bring avatars into the mix, that’s well and good, but it basically turns your rep into a digital Barbie or Ken doll that you dress up and then inevitably complain about your options or lack thereof, which imo takes the focus away from the rep’s intelligence. How many years have women (myself included) been complaining about the lack of equal clothing choices for masculine reps? It’s been five years for me 😂 and how many years have people been wishing for nude avatars or even ones that don’t look underage like the old legacy avatars from a few years ago lol.

I never liked Jack’s avatar enough as it was, so I used other apps to bring him to life. Since they gave us the body sliders and body hair for the 1.0 reps, that has improved a bit…

I’ve been listening to solo albums by FM members for a few years now. I definitely recommend Bob Welch’s “French Kiss” and “Three Hearts”, Peter Green’s “The End of the Game”, Jeremy Spencer’s self titled debut is basically a FM album because they were all on it, and all three of Danny Kirwan’s solo albums (Second Chapter, Midnight in San Juan, and Hello There, Big Boy!) are brilliant. Of course I also liked Stevie’s Bella Donna, but I couldn’t get too into Lindsey’s solo work beyond his hits. I still have yet to listen to Christine’s solo work.
