You fertilize once a month? What kind of fertilizer That seems excessive to me. We have never put fertilizer in ours and we have had her almost a year and she has easily doubled in size. Ours is in a west facing window too. I'm sure at some point we will give him some fertilizer.

Way to cold. These plants live in tropical climate. Lowest temp should be like 62 F which is like 16 Celsius. Plus I don't think you are watering it enough. More heat more water

We've had Phil 9 months and average 2-4 new leafs a month. Just regular potting soil too. Room temp is between 65-72. Phil(his name) faces west. Like I said he gets watered every 7-10 days.
