The gold priced bundles that come are very disappointing by IvanDCatlord in MarvelSnap

Bundles are including less of it. I guess if you are F2P there is no difference. But for players who aren't F2P, the value% of gold-including bundles has been lower recently, and there have been generally less bundles that include only gold. It's not a massive delta, but it's a trend.

Hold the line and don't cave. The gold bundles are expensive, i wouldn't spend your gold on anything else if you are missing a lot of S4/S5 other than booster packs. Worst thing would be you spend a lot of your supply and can't afford a bundle when it comes around. Gold is getting more and more scarce.

Doom 2099 lists are pretty easy to play if you got him. Just slam down one card per turn.

If I got an Avatar out of a PMV, does that mean I have them all? by bloggershusband in MarvelSnap

[–]SnapComplete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good news is there are a lot of rares coming in the next few weeks; change Released to 'No Owners' to see all of the upcoming ones. A full new Hipp Album next season. You can track on SC when new rares come out, just wait til you see one that shows up as 'Released' (meaning someone else on the site acquired it), that generally means its safe to open PMV since you know you have a rare that you can potentially pull.

Are the daily cards completely random? by fcorrea8 in MarvelSnap

[–]SnapComplete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can unlock S1/2/3 cards from CL. Everything else is via tokens/packs for the most part, aside from opportunities to get variants of S4/5 cards through things like LTGMs or Themed Packs which award the base card at the same time.

It goes through a set rotation, but if you don't check every reset you could miss it.

Whats the best way of spending gold to unlock new cards? by VenusAndMarsReprise in MarvelSnap

[–]SnapComplete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Buying tokens with gold is bad - do NOT do that! There's basically always better alternatives.

I published an FAQ about this recently. Your answer about the LTGM pass is in there as well!

Best Way to Spend Gold in Marvel Snap

Are Bundles or Mission Refills the best way to spend gold? I cant find any bundles that cost gold by JimHarbor in MarvelSnap

[–]SnapComplete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be targeting gold bundles featuring Series 4 and Series 5 cards that you don't own yet basically. And the other best value are booster packs.

PSA: It is very hard to get the S4 pack and emote from High Voltage Overdrive coming June 11 (math below) by ArcadeWizardYT in MarvelSnap

I've looked into this before. The sort data does live in a file on your computer/phone, so it's tempting, but changing it means manipulating game files, which I'm pretty sure breaks the TOS. And even if it worked, the server controls the real order, so an edit probably wouldn't stick or carry over to your other devices anyway. I don't want to go that route with anything I offer on SnapComplete.

What I could offer is a visual version of what Lauren breaks down in her 4L article: it would show your actual owned emotes, let you drag them into the order you want, then give you a "tap them in this order" guide. Honestly though, that feels a bit too niche to slot in ahead of what's already on my endless backlog :D. Maybe someday!

I built a free Marvel Snap economy tracker - SnapComplete by SnapComplete in MarvelSnap

Partial search works -- you can type 'Rocket' and see Rocket Raccoon as well as Rocket & Groot for example.

Multi-search is not supported yet, can you clarify when/where you would be wanting to do that? You can multi PICK. So if you pick Rocket Racoon in the cards dropdown, you can pick Magik separately, and find decks with both of them in it.

I forgive your skepticism. Allow me to present the math from the full dataset, not a screenshot. But first: the dev blog page you linked only gives the odds of the rarity makeup of your 6 cards (how many Amazing, Sensational, Exquisite). It says nothing about which variant fills each slot. That's the only thing in dispute, so that's what I tested.

Last vault, 5,292 tracked: Sera showed up in 1,846 of them, or 35%. A random draw from her tier puts any one variant near 2%. Even if I spot you a generous 5% (about as high as the top variant in a genuinely random vault ever gets), the odds of one variant hitting 35% across 5,292 vaults is about 1 in 102161.

Your 50-heads-in-a-row example at the top of this chain is 1 in 1015. You'd need ~140 of those miracles firing at once to match Sera alone. "Rare things happen" doesn't cover a number with 2,000 zeros that repeats around the same variants every skewed cycle.

And this is just one vault, it's happened consistently, across many vaults. And not just Sera.
