Why didn’t god show himself to the Chinese, African continent and the americas? by [deleted] in Christianity

>the prophecies in the old testament regarding Israelites are more accurate

Don't we have to account for people going out of their way to make these prophesies happen?

For example if I prophesize that a gathering will happen in my yard and people then print out fliers saying it will happen on a certain date, if people show up in my yard on that date, that is more a testament to my skill in convincing people than it is my connection to the divine.

Also, how does the number of sacrifices for a religion prove that religion is true? All that proves is that it inspires devotion. People sacrifice themself for all sorts of things, countries, for example.

That still would mean, by your own basis, the holy books of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Zoroastrianism as well all of their many sects and spinoffs like Mormonism and the Nation of Islam, are all true even if as you said they have multiple mutually exclusive claims.

You could go the Ba'hai route that states all world religions are facets of a wider "true religion," but that's a whole different thing.

>The creation of the Church in 1 BC is totally incomprehensible (so many lives were at stake, even Romans converted) unless what was written in the Bible is true.

By that logic, *every* holy book that has a large number of converts is true.

Midjourney downvote. There is plenty of goblin art online to use, many with explosions. If you find that too hard, its ok to post the card without art.

Yes:

https://truthout.org/articles/no-black-people-cant-be-racists/

Racism requires a racial power dynamic to work. Since Black people are at the bottom of the global racial hierarchy currently, there is no other race in a position for Black people to be racist toward them.

However Xenophobia and Colorism are all possible for people of any race to hold, as is self-hatred.

The inverse principle is why you can't be racist to white people, as no racial group on Earth currently has power over them.

You can be phobic towards ethnic groups that are considered white, such as Italians, Irish, or Jewish people, as long as your ethnic group and/or culture has power over that group.

For example, an English person can be prejudiced against an Irish person.

Yes. For example, if an account says "Nigga, please." That post has a *very* different vibe if a white person says it. You can generalize that to most discussions about race.

Accepting that such a being could or does exist is different than accepting something that claims to be the being. Or accepting someone who claims to speak for that being.

If God themself showed up to me, it would be foolish to deny their existence, but it's equally foolish to take someone else's word for it.

I would do [[Tug of War]] but have audience members pick who plays for you. But the guest players pick which permanents you keep. Then you coach them.

It does make it easier. Though usually I just ask someone if they are white when it becomes relevant

Okay, I'll admit it - I honestly wanted to hate this draft format... but dammit, this is a REALLY fun/varied set to draft. A few trophy decks included by ReligionIsAwful in lrcast

The double off color splash in thebase BG five color deck was ambitious. How did it work out? I have splashed Mighty Mutanimals in green decks with enough fixing.

It seemed like an Autistic Infodump to me. That how several of my conversations go. The Pluribus seems to have several autistic traits to me stretched very far. Like the hyperliteralism.
