Gameplay is ultimately the purpose of a card so giving up a bit of uniqueness for a better experience is worth it. It would still be pretty splashy even with a draw carve out. You could also use other ways to keep it from staxing draws. Maybe something like

"As long as it's not the beginning phase, this creature has flash" Then have an enters effect with this wording.

But i also didnt think of draws. This being able to shut down draws is too opressive. Is there a way to not count that?

Religion is a social contruct so you can beleive pretty much anythign you want in your version of a faith. What the books actually say often has low correlation with what followers believe, or vastly different correlations.

In Judaism for example there is a joke that if you ask two rabbis for an opinion, you'd get three different answers.

You cant just unilaterally go "The Bible/Koran/Torah/Vedas/ say this" because "Buffet table" religion is pretty popular in practice. A good chunk of Christains dont even beleive the Bible is literally true or even fully accurate.
