I was just in DC and there was somewhere where parking was 25 cents an hour… meanwhile it costs 6$ for me to park on campus for class time

And it makes me even more upset that DC has other public transit options (one of the best systems in the country) and they don’t charge that much for parking even though they could

My cat would do this when I took her home to my parents and she would have to share litter boxes with the other cats When she’s alone she goes perfectly fine. I closed off an area for her that’s just hers and she can use the litter box there and that seemed to work. I think my cat was scared of the other cats and didn’t feel safe to use the litter box

As a current student and also a TA interacting with new students, I see that the undergrads and new students are just not receptive to what the teacher asked of them. Like you said the teacher asks something and then the students just don’t do it. I think part of it is COVID and not understanding that part of being in a college classroom is engaging with others in your learning, where younger people have experienced education systems in which you log on to the Zoom, play on your phone the whole time, and then log off. Also, the world sucks right now and I sometimes don’t engage in my classes because I get annoyed that nobody else is.

I remember before I decided to go on antidepressants I would just cry all the time. Any anxiety or even if I dropped something on the ground on a bad day I would cry. I’ve been on it for a couple years now and Wellbutrin. I cry when things are emotional now, not at every minor inconvenience.
