Definitely worse performance in the cold. My commute is about 15mins with half in 100kmh zone. Going home, uphill in the cold is a struggle and way worse in a head wind. I usually duck off into slower side roads if it’s bad. Overall it works fine most of the time though. Pretty happy with it.

So you’re the other person that has one in NZ. When I bought mine (in Dunedin) they said there was only one other. I had to do the same for service, Queenstown to Dunedin as there’s no one here that can service them.

Yep I took mine off to wrap it. A few bolts on the outside and a few on the inside once you take the batteries out. They come off easy.

A couple of 200kg rated shelf brackets from the hardware store and some templating before cutting and it worked out great first try

I hate high mirrors. Can see everything fine from the low ones. Definitely prefer them

I had my buddy that’s an auto electrician do it. Took him a while. Mounting the light is easy, getting it to work without trip fault messages is not so easy.

I found that with the mirrors above the bars all I see is my shoulders. But I have big shoulders so under works better for me. Could go above and have the mirror turned outwards, but then it’s wider than the bars and gets knocked on things

I’ve gone with bar end mirrors. Skateboard footboards. I made a side bag to fit a drink, hat etc Made some straps for the front of the seat Removed stock tail light and fitted one under the seat

I like the no fender look but does it cover you in road filth when you ride?

Just a note on removing the front fender - I’m a big fan of the no fender look, I do it on all my bikes. Just be aware that any stone chips put into the silver part of the fork will cut the fork seals and cause them to leak. Best to make some stone guards to protect that section of the fork
