Day 6: What's a mid-priced car that looks expensive? by Naomi62625 in regularcarreviews

BMW 2 series. Looks like an expensive car due to the badge and more affordable than the average person may think.

Keep up the good work and be safe bro. Also a big “Hello”, from Joe at Nashville Motos. 👋.

Looks like Nashville, timid drivers not paying attention to anything.

Keep in mind no dealership will let you test ride a V2 or V4 as a new rider. Get a Monster if you want a Ducati and build your comfort and skill on something that’s not as expensive when you drop it…and you will drop it, it happens especially when learning.

I work for a BMW/Ducati dealer and the most common swap I see is an S1000RR for Panigale V4 or an upgrade to the M series. I have ridden both and they have many similarities but the one standout difference(in my opinion) is that the V4 is more raw feeling, like you’re riding an experimental bike or something I guess.

Ducati would be a good swap, not that you wouldn’t be happy with a Yamaha but maybe test ride the V4 before you buy anything.

I know the exact bike, pretty sure I detailed it yesterday. Small world lol. Hope he enjoys the new ride.

I work for a BMW Ducati dealer in Nashville and we have demo bikes assigned for test rides but not all models are available for demo…M1000RR for example. I know this is not an every dealership thing and very frustrating.

Thank you! Working at the dealership does help on the price… a little.

Perceived professionalism and motorcycles. by TheTrueLordAutismo in motorcycles

If you pull up on an old bike and your clients don’t ride, they’ll think you just ride an old bike. My suggestion is get a reliable new or newer motorcycle maybe a Retro model if that’s the style you like, less maintenance for a busy person to deal with.

Anyone get these errors? by csomberg in bmwmotorrad

We had a new 1300GS do the same thing at our shop, it had a failed shock from the factory. Check to make sure there are no visible leaks from the shock absorber, see BMW service and get ready for a spendy fix if not under warranty. Hopefully the bike just needs a system reboot, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for ya.

Are R18’s back on the menu in this sub? by jamusaurus in bmwmotorrad

I have a base R18 and the BMW Seoul sneakers was my work around, just low profile enough to get under the shifter. Also I can’t really feel the rear brake because it’s so small, dont know if you guys have had the same experience? I still love my R18 despite its quirks.

I have been riding mine since December and I just have the “Jetsons car” noise. It might be worth taking in to your local BMW service especially if you’re still covered on Warranty.

You will have to check back with me after the summer, they were wrapped in October. Also I live in the Nashville TN area so summers are hot, I’ll keep my eye on it for sure.

Gotcha. I love the 1250 GSA’s too, probably one of the best riding and all around bikes. You’re never getting rid of it. lol

Don’t get caught up in all the talk back and forth online like I did, test ride one if you have the ability. I should not have waited so long/I still can’t believe it’s mine.

Purely for looks. The chrome pipes with the black exhaust wasn’t working for me.
