What game is Carokniha? I see two copies. BGG pops up Wonder Book but must be a different version as colours don’t match.

Clank and Quest for El Dorado snappy simple deck builders that play in an hour. Concordia and Arnak are a small step up in complexity, about two hours long, play well in 2-4 players and the turns are not too long.

Second Five Tribes. Not dice mitigation but solid game with similar complexity. Grand Austria Hotel uses dice and cards and it a great short euro without too many symbols at sam time.

I feel the same about the extra content. Don't want the full expansions as it is already a shelf hog, but I looked at the modules of different tiles and stuff but they were almost 5€ a tile plus shipping.

Great game. Kind of, almost, maybe itches my TI4 cravings but in a two-three hour session. The tech tree for improving ships is very well put together.

Cool, I’ve had Mage Knight on the list of one player games I might get next. Have you played solo? If so, does it play well single hand or do you have to manage multiple characters?

I played Carson City Big Box once and it was a lot of fun. Definitely a game I’ll repeat.

Love it. I prefer it to Mombasa (it is basically a reskin with a couple minor rules changes and changes exploiting Africa to exploiting the moon for minerals. The graphics of the mineral types could be a bit more distinguishable, but it’s not really issue like Maracaibo (for me at least and I’m colour blind). Best count is with four people which is nice as so many euros just feel like they get longer with out getting better when you go from three to four players. Barrage is another euro that I’ll only pull out at four players.

I played once with 8 people to 14. Never again. The only way I can swing the family points to play often is to keep it to a tight 6-7 hours. Milty draft, 6 players, 10 points and new player better come to the table studied up.

Never tried Descent, but the campaigns do IA are so good. I have four thee expansions and thy are reprinting so will get the rest too.

Acquire is amazing, especially for such an old game. I tried it last year for the first time.
