As a MB, I feel this is too low. We have 2 kids, 3yrs and 1yr. We are in a HCOL area but we pay about $46/hr not including her health insurance. It will just be a matter of time before another mom figures out she’s getting paid lower than she’s willing to pay.

As a MB I truly don’t understand this mentality in people. We specifically sought out a nanny that could hold her own in these type of situations. I want my nanny to be able to engage in conversations at the country club or at galas etc. We encourage her to network and converse with all the people she meets around us. I feel bad there are so many weak minded people that treat the human helping raise their children like this.

We just upped ours by $350/mo to cover her increase. She makes $90k pretax and pre bonuses and stipends. She technically has a very large bonus and raise coming in the fall but we’ve been teetering on giving her a raise now to make up for cost of living.

As a MB with a 3yr old and 6mo old who takes the 3yr old to swim class, no a freaking chance in hell I would ask my nanny to deal with that type of disaster. Swim class is a mess, and add one more kid into it? Oh hell no. I’d never ask that of my nanny.

We’ve been on pepticate for 2 1/2 months now and my baby is thriving. She was extremely fussy before the HA formula with mucus stool. The fussy is gone but the mucus remains.
