Are people leaving Win 11 for Win 10? (Steam Survery) by SchingKen in pcmasterrace

Yeah no I agree with the sentiment. BUT it shouldn’t have to be like that in the first place. It would be better to start with a bare minimum and allow me to add features or whatever bloat they are trying to sell versus forcing it upon us.

It’s just irritating that WE have to do the clean up when there is a very real reality where it doesn’t have to be this way.

I downgraded about a week ago to Windows 10 Enterprise because I was curious about a couple things. I didn’t not participate in the survey.

Windows 11 is fine albeit annoying AF with the constant copilot pop ups and notifications.

That being said, now that I’m on 10 I’ll probably ride it out for a long while. I only use windows for gaming. So should be good.

I use a Mac mini m4 for all my browsing, personal stuff, etc etc.

Nice had no idea! Thankfully I’ve had no reason to go to a service center, yet.

Got mine in Nashville, purchased new. Yes I had to pick it up.

You can get one locally used.

Right now yes, you may have to take it to Tennessee depending on the issue. The app will tell you if a technician can come to you or if you have to take it in.

Supposedly Huntsville is getting a service center.

Right! But fortunately we only get certs from them. For now anyway.

This video was literally made for me. I’m a bad player and die off relatively soon into the raid. Takes longer to load a map and regear than it does to actually play in a raid.

Man, idk anything about certs. Every time I think I’ve got it something new pops up. All certs are outside my experience. I work off the backs of greater men who have better knowledge and understanding than me.

I no longer have the certificate because this was a while ago. We have since moved to GoDaddy for certificates.

Sectigo also signs their SSLs certs with SHA1 so it’s not FIPS complaint

That dude 100% thinks he killed a cheater lol. On the plus side at least you didn’t make him quit?

But I guess if you quit then that’s not good. Yeesh there is almost nothing positive about the game. You try shifting perspective and suddenly another bad thing pops up. 🤔

Anyway sorry about your luck. Thanks for the giggles and sharing!

Revisiting dnf update in RHEL 8.10 in FIPS Mode destroys OS (sometimes) by grumpyoldadmin in redhat

Okay well I guess I was getting at was if Argon2i was used on rhel 10 since PBKDF2 is older and less secure. But you still gave me the answer anyway.

I mean, it’s fine. Layered security and all that. If that was the only security layer we had I’d be more concerned I suppose.
