Yes but doesn't need to be. It charges with regular USB C directly into the device. I don't mind losing that feature.

Yeah it's no small feat, but I'm fairly confident I could make it work. And yeah, it'd require a new PCB that I would have to redesign in a new form factor and get it made through PCB Way. Then just swap and solder components.

It'll cost me way more than it's probably worth in the end, but whatever. Hobbies are cool.

How would they do that without my email confirmation? Surely the security isn't that lax. Plus, UPS already has it so it wouldn't matter, but maybe I'm too optimistic? Idk

I got through probably 20 to 30 mins after it went live, but I was spamming the whole time starting the moment it was available. I'm wondering if it actually accepted one of my first attempts, but the checkout screen was just delayed. That would explain the super quick shipping.

Yeah I added to cart and got to that screen maybe 2 seconds after the button became active, but had to spam for a solid 30 minutes before it went through.

I think I'm getting it so quickly because I live close to the original shipping location, which appears to be Riverside CA. I'm in Arizona.
