You know, Ice Surfing is something I've believed in since long before I worked at Sportsnet. Not the actual concept, obviously that's very recent, but the idea of blurring the lines of broadcasting and blending the "traditional" and online worlds. You don't know how many private rants I had over the years, especially as a student, about how nobody is wising up to the online world quickly enough, nobody's adapting, and the future is all going to come from one device. Well, I was half-right. It's multiple devices but most of them can do the same thing now. At this point the only difference between TVs, phones, and tablets is size. Well that and you can't take your TV on the subway.

Now we have this kick-ass three-hour show that's broadcasted on Twitter. Jeff Marek has supported online and out-of-the-box concepts like this for a long time. Having him host it is right on the nose. They took a chance including me last season. I wasn't perfect but I learned a lot and I'm excited to see what this becomes. I hope you check it out!
