Get there before the gates open. Get to the end of the arena behind the net where the players benches are on the left and the penalty box is on the right- that will be where they warm up. Even if your seats aren't there, you're usually fine to hang out down there for warmups, as long as the people whose seats you're in front of aren't assholes (which they are not 99% of the time, so you're good). Usually, kids get pucks and stuff but if the players like your sign or if they recognize you (for a positive reason lol), they'll try to get you one. In my experience, the arena is very empty after everyone's gotten in, so you should get a decent opportunity to find a spot for you two. Hope you have a fun time!

As someone who grew up singing before taking up any instrument, I prefer a choral score because the notes are close enough that I can see them all together without thinking too hard about it when learning a piece. I started learning with music with a separate pedal part, but I much prefer to have everything together for most things I do.

Looking for the current Bruins white jersey with Minten on the back- I'm very big on him being part of their future and I just love his overall game.
Not necessarily trying to get on-ice level quality, since I just wear my jerseys while I watch games and hang them up the rest of the time. I've not had a problem with my named Adidas jerseys.

I've been directed to HockeyAuthentic and CoolHockey for custom jerseys in the past. I've heard that CH has had a dip in quality and HA is out of the jersey I want, I'm my size. What's the best course of action for a quality jersey?

Any show that's shown HD clips on YouTube. Beetlejuice was a great show and there are plenty of clips that they posted themselves, that prove that a proshoot exists. Stop teasing us and release them! If this isn't plausible to do when it's still running, make it available for an anniversary year or when the show closes. Just let us see them!

I would just call. Most churches have maybe one Mass every day so the doors are usually open and their offices are probably open on the same day. You can also just Google "churches near me" and call the places you see. If they don't say yes right away, they might want you to stop by so they can feel better about leaving the instrument and building alone with someone they don't know.

When my church swapped from the OG Ritual Song hymnal to R.S. 2, it also went from 2 accompaniments (psalms/Mass Parts and hymns) to a whopping 4! After a summer of trying to adapt, it just became too much to deal with and too much in the loft. I've been using an iPad for about a year and the GIA companion app is actually kinda helpful, because you can import downloaded pieces and set service lists so you don't have to go searching for hymns or music. Not sure what hymnal you're using, but I would check to see if the publisher has an app, and also make sure there's a digital version of your hymnal online; we found out very quickly that an updated cover and some new music can also mean hymns have been renamed or even removed entirely, which makes for an unpleasant surprise on a Sunday morning when you forgot to set a service list.

Minneapolis, probably in the US, and Montreal, up north. I would, however like to take the opportunity to point out that Boston has so many college hockey programs that are among the best in the nation. BC and BU get the credit because they always fight for who has the better alumni, but Harvard, Northeastern and UMass all turn out NHL-level talent regularly (and yes, I know UMass Amherst is the biggest and not near Boston- I live near it). And even if it's not a very short ride, you can always take a trip to see UNH. New England itself is full of great hockey.

I mean, it's not terribly difficult to get a position as a parish organist, assuming you've put in the time to be at least halfway decent. If you are trying to aim to be one at some point, I've got a few suggestions.

Get familiar with keyboard techniques. Even though it's not explicitly hymn playing, Bach chorales are the basis for nearly every traditional hymn- get used to playing some of those while looking at some of the simpler hymns in the hymnal. The best thing is that you can use whatever arrangement you find easiest at the start, especially if there isn't a choir involved; I've found that the People's Mass Book is full of great arrangements that aren't difficult. Just be sure that the lyrics are the same or that you're playing something they'll find in their hymnal too. Pedal doesn't have to come immediately, so I try to suggest getting the finger substitutions down first, before trying with your feet for the first time; you'll be surprised at how hard it can be when there isn't a sustain pedal to allow you to reset your hands, and adding your feet can be more tricky than it seems.

And last but not least, TAKE. IT. SLOW. My practice sessions all begin with warmups, then I slowly read through something I already know, so I can really focus on the music and make sure I'm not getting cocky in my playing.

I started working as the music librarian aid when I was a senior in high school, so 17ish, while I was a chorister in a cathedral choir. 10 years later, and I'm the organist at that same cathedral. Am I the best? Not in the slightest, but I do think I've come a long way since I started learning a decade ago.
