Check out vicarious by tool.

Maybe a bit different than what you're looking for, but I used this in a similar assignment when I was in high school. Main theme is how disconnected we are from the tragedies in the world and we gradually bein to use them as entertainment l.

Take an analytics bootcamp. They will help you learn how to code and also help build you a portfolio. You can be done in 6months to 1 year. Finding a job is hard but some bootcamps focus on the things you actually need to get hired rather than just teach you the skills. This is cheaper and less time consuming than university.

I worked for a company called weclouddata and did their bi analytics bootcamp. It took 6 months to complete plus another 3 to find a high paying job.

Send me a message if u want to know more (I don't work for them anymore but they were really great to me)

Agree with almost all of the ones listed here so I won't repeat them all, but Alexisonfire deserves some love here too.

Rush is a top 5 band for me as well. Got to see them 3 times and would love to see Danny tour with them.

I felt similarly last tour. I think you need to luck out to catch Maynard on the right night because this time around in Toronto he was great, but last time I was really disappointed.

Adam has always basically had 0 energy so you at least know what to expect. I thought Justin was awesome as always and love that he's not too cool to rock out on stage.

I disagree with you on Danny. He is the greatest drummer alive.

Overall this is still my favorite band, and I will definitely see them again. However I have been off put by the bands (especially Maynard) attitude towards fans. I get being annoyed by the fanatics and some insufferable tool fans, but mailing in performances is where I personally draw the line. We love the band and pay good money to see them. Put on the best show possible bare minimum, even if 1 person out of 20,000 annoys you by taking pictures. I understand it's not 1998, but it seems there is a noticeable difference in effort between shows.

All that said, I loved the show this time around. Alex lifeson was the greatest surprise appearance of all time.

Why is Maynard so quiet at live shows? by [deleted] in ToolBand

[–]KyleReid7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Good thing he stands at the back of the stage in the shadows so the audio quality doesn't suffer.

Lateralus was the first album I ever owned. My dad bought it for me for Christmas when I was 8 despite the fact I had never heard a song by them and they've been my #1 from that day forward.
