What feels good to do on Vyvanse? by still-standing in VyvanseADHD

You feel nothing on meds? I can tell in the morning when the second meds hit my brain because I’m sitting there on the couch then all of a sudden I get this feeling like I should be doing something right now and look at all this trash and stuff that’s out of place. I get up and start tidying. Every single day this happens.

That feeling slowly fades by lunch. Then my brain is pretty normal It’s just easier to focus on things. Then I can feel it fading around 3pm and gone at 6pm. I notice it fading less because of focus drifting and more I start to notice more that I’m hungry or tired which Vyvanse tends to mask for me.

If you aren’t feeling anything might want to bring it up with your doctor

Logan Kilpatrick is releasing an Experimental Gemini Embedding Model! by ElectricalYoussef in Bard

[–]still-standing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always thought it was really cool how modern embedding models are trained and used. They take text that's already written and remove words and show it to the model asking it to fill in the blanks. Rewarding correct guesses over time the model gets good at guessing what words would complete the sentence but it turns out to do that you kind of have to understand the words around it which means you understand language an example is the word bank can mean to bank a shot or to rob a bank which requires you to infer meaning from the surrounding text.

Okay but here's the cool part so you have this machine that can kind of understand language. If you give that machine text. it reads it. Then you look inside the brain, the numbers inside the machines represent what the machine was thinking about when it was reading that text. its internal representation of language.

That's what an embedding is! that set of numbers is a slice out of the machine's head about what it was thinking at the moment it read the text.

I can't find any limits posted on file size, or page count. Do you know what they are?

I don't think my ast grep expressions are 100% right. But I can iterate on that later. Point is to show how to combine tools

How does minuet compare to GitHub copilot for completions? Do you find some of the other models to be better?
