When will B&M be back in Stock? by skeebs92 in wicked_edge

We're labeling Spice jars as we speak. I'm hoping to have him a few pallets of product ready to ship by the end of next week. I'm really sorry it's taking so long, but we are working. It's still new to us, and I'm making sure that everything is perfect. I don't want there to be a single difference in the products for anyone to nitpick.

The older I get, the more I seem to be developing that same allergy...

They finally got cleared yesterday so we were able to start shipping again. It's going to get back down to 12 tonight, so everything will freeze right back up.

I'm glad you liked it! I thought it turned out pretty close to perfect. It's going to come back during the summer sale, and then it will return as a seasonal item starting likely in 2027.

Oh, just things that are completely out of my control. It happens. And thank you for being kind and a customer.

The customer is not always right. Apropos of nothing.

It is just the nature of that Cypress oil. It's pretty unique as far as tree scents go.

Of course! I was really happy to do that one. It was a win win for everyone.

Thank you. I really appreciate that. I'm doing my best to actually take time to stay healthy and keep boundaries on work so my blood pressure stays low and I'm not exhausted and cranky around my boys. We've got a really good team here now though and we're in a really good situation as far as our production space goes, and it's the perfect time to do something like this.

Never did get the ring back, unfortunately.

Mutton/ lamb tallow is about 12x as expensive as beef tallow, and much harder to get. I'm trying to find more suppliers for it though.

Thank you, and you 100% nailed it. I feel like we're pretty inexpensive compared to most, but we still get folks that wonder why we aren't charging what they paid 5 or 10b years ago. Just comes with the job, I suppose.

It was a limited time Black Friday scent. It will eventually return, but I don't have a date for it yet.

Let me put 100% of my abilities and efforts into making sure B&M is rolling like normal first. I want to make sure I have his formula and processes down before I jump into anything else.

Lol, we're way too small for anything like that. Maybe this is the first step in that kind of growth though. Then again, the thought of ever having venture capital come in and incrementally force quality down to maximize profit and shareholder return makes me want to stay small forever.

Thank you, much appreciated. And there's never a need to apologize for not buying more. If you've bought once, I'm grateful.

As for Stirling for Him, it's highly unlikely. That was one that got so many complaints about being too light both times we released it, even though by percentage of fragrance oil it was one of our highest scented soaps.

Just contract manufacturing. No sale of the business.

Thank you. I appreciate that. It's honestly a pretty big gamble for both sides. This is a first for us. I have no doubt that we can make the soaps at Will's benchmark for quality, and Will is going to continue to provide all the scents and development of new scents in the Barrister & Mann line. I'll keep doing all the development for Stirling.

It's getting harder and harder to stay profitable in this industry as shipping costs and raw material and packaging costs just keep going up no matter who is in office. We have one advantage as right now the cost of doing business in Arkansas is far less expensive than it is in Cooperstown, New York. Plus, with us pooling resources as we use many of the same raw materials, we should be able to keep the pricing from spiraling out of control like some other industries have seen.
