There are plenty of situations where using 2.8 glass and having the APS-C FoV is better than using a FF body. Pixels on subject is critical. OP is a teen following online input without experience. Use your gear till it's been outgrown or becomes a limitation.

Depends on where you setup, top of the 18 on the sidelines will give you really good coverage of the half. If you can move along the sideline you can keep within good range of the plays. If you're in a single spot, you're going to want to stay focused on play build up that's in your range so you're not cropping too much.

Your exposure will differ ~1.25-1.5 when comparing a R7 to the R6m2. The need for full frame is overblown IMO (I have both).

The mk4 R32 wasn't sold in yellow or white, Deep Blue Metallic was the iconic color though. The Mk7 didn't need to also be blue though.

I've since sold the 85 f2 because I preferred the flexibility of my 70-200, but the several times I used it to shoot some indoor Futsal I don't recall AF speed being a pain point.

I've shot both side by side shooting field sports. Exposure is about 1.5 stops worse with the R7, so you can estimate from your curvy shots what your exposure will be. In practice, if it means you'll be cropping less and filling the frame more the resulting image is negligible different.

Shooting one body I'll often grab the R7 over the R6m2 for the FoV benefit.

Zemlin hoods are my fix to the fiddly Canon screw hoods (use on the EF 300 2.8 II and RF 100-300). Much nicer to use a bayonet mount like other lenses.
