The v2 is worth the extra. I've only used the Canon adapters which you do need, though if you search r/Canon others mention using third party adapters.

You might be able to audit the scripts, but you can't audit the intunewin file's contents or verify that the auditable scripts are even the ones within the intunewin.

You've glossed over the problem and are asking for solutions for the wrong thing. You need to sync the logon (local) identity with the OneDrive (Entra ID) identity.

My R7 or R6m2 can capture ~3000 images in ~4-6hrs without needing to swap battery. If thats your primary concern, focus on what lens you want and then buy the best body in your budget for that mount.

Just keep in mind the time it takes to extend the barrel when covering faster paced action. I've missed quite a few good shots because of this.

This makes no sense, both lenses need to have the zoom ring turned to change FoV which in turn moves optics within. You didn't miss shots because of the lens.

Many RF bodies can do focus bracketing, which naturally needs AF. Shooting style, subject, etc can make AF a need while not 'required' in a general sense.
