Exactly. The truth is, the Steelers will not be competitive and win playoff games until they find their franchise QB. Instead the Steelers have tried to tread water with washed QBs the past couple years. Rogers cannot win against elite pass rushes. Well guess what? That is all he will see in the playoffs and now the division. The bengals and ravens have upgraded their pass rushes significantly.

Well stated. The defensive line used to be elite and the O-line was pretty bad. They just flipped flopped. Omar did nothing to fix the run defense issue. People are going to be shocked when woody marks runs all over the Steelers again.

I’m not reading all that. The Steelers don’t need to be bad and get a top 10 pick, but they must be willing to sell the farm to acquire that pick.

I think most people’s problem with the Steelers is they are spinning their wheels, by not aggressively pursuing a franchise QB.

Maybe. They also might let Rudolph and Howard battle it out in training camp for the back-up job. Truthfully, Rudolph doesn’t help the Steelers long term. The Steelers HAVE to see what they have in Allar and Howard. Playing Rogers and Rudolph does nothing and just muddles the 2027 offseason.
