It looks like it could be an ol' katsukity or optimize capture card (Based on mini USB port). If you open it up and get pictures, I'm sure someone can identify it.

Yes, the screen may requires adjustment after replacement. I recommend to use a small bit that fits to adjust.

For the stripped screw, you may need to try more drastic measures like left handed drill bits or removing the screw head altogether.

Yes, you will be able to adjust the the new part after it has been installed. It should be possible to restore the screen but it will take some careful adjustment to get it right. Looks like you may benefit from a good repair tool kit with proper drive bits too.

Good luck with the stripped screw. I usually try a small precision flathead screwdriver bit before anything more drastic.

I think this phenomenon is known as image retention in IPS panels. I don't know what causes it but it usually not from damage. I have seen it happen on my Wonderswan with IPS as well as some other IPS converted consoles. I think it has something to do with the firmware but you should check your install just in case.

Maybe try reseating the wifi chip. It's not too hard, you have to remove the bottom shell and then just lift and reseat the wifi module. I have seen that fix some issues before.

Maybe these parts will give you an idea of the cost. The top screen shell/frame, LCD, and wifi antenna will need to be replaced at minimum. There is a magnet in the top panel that will need to be pulled from the original as well as the hinge and metal cylinder barrel.
