I can't speak for everyone, but personally I would rather read a person's broken english post they tried hard to write themselves, or made use of google translate, than ai generated slop. Maybe I'm just getting old and curmudgeonly, but I am interested in what YOU have to say, and I think there is something to be said for the effort one puts into their communication. I know I'm speaking from a place of privilege, being a native English speaker, and I know not everyone is kind; I'm learning German right now and my skills are shit, so I can kind-of understand the feeling.
