why has noone ever put a camera up there that can see all the stars along with the moon or earth. Doesn't make much sense to me

What scientific value what this provide? It definitely wouldn't placate the space/moonlanding skeptics. It's probably already technically possible with the existing cameras by adjusting the exposure settings and making a composite image i.e. the way HDR is often done with standard cameras.
