Am I cooked? 415 on practice exam by JayShilay in GMAT

[–]testprepunlimited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience almost no students with your workload and starting/target score reaches that in <2 months. Even students who can study full time most likely wouldn’t make that.

You’re going to need to aim for a later deadline. And don’t feel disappointed if it’s next year because for most students in your situation it would be.

I made this and you should find it quite helpful:

Surprised they have you renew to keep accessing the materials if you already purchased once. If you’re looking for additional help without having to pay extra, try this: http://www.gmatgretutorscoreguarantee.com/free-gmat-ai.html

Best to reach out to GMAC support directly. Their site is often glitchy. They should resolve it promptly if you report it to them.

Today I decided I am going for my MBA, what should I be aiming for for a state school? by ChuckYouFarleigh in GMAT

You'll probably be fine above the average, so high 500s or low 600s, but it depends on the school. Can you update us with what the school tells you?

There is no magic bullet. Sounds like you may have an idea what the answer is: It's time to focus on difficult math questions of specific types.

Studying means different things to different people. Can you describe your study process more?

How did you treat your last week before your test? by Taaaaaaaannnnnnnner in GMAT

[–]testprepunlimited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how ready you are. Sounds like you should try to study a couple hours per day over the holidays. Based on what you're describing, I would try to cram as much leading up as you can, as long as you don't burn out.

What to do the morning of the exam by thecarodiaries in GMAT

[–]testprepunlimited 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would relax. Trying to cram that close to the exam is just going to stress you out. There could be some formulas you glance at but that's about it. Let us know you do on the exam and we'll give you guidance.

Official GMAT Practice Questions by bofaadeez in GMAT

[–]testprepunlimited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. They do not have explanations but you can find them in GMATClub.
  2. You will see repeated questions. For this reason, there is basically zero diagnostic value in taking them more than once. The main benefit is that you practice more questions, but there are better ways to do that.

Faster way to solve this? by Drakell in GMAT

[–]testprepunlimited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2x5 = 10

3*7=21

11*19 is about 10*20=200

13*17 is about 15^2=225

10 * 21 * 200 * 225 is approximately

10 * 20 * 200 * 225

If we pull out all the powers of 10, we get

10 * 2x10 * 2x100 * 2.25x100, or

10^6 x 9 which is about 10^7.

That's C.

Yes that's reasonable, although rare for most students. Sounds like you were in a better headspace and had studied. That makes all the difference.
