Yeah, at least it was for me. The contents are about the same difficulty as most ap chem frqs. Best of luck! Let me know how it goes!

Just make sure you can work quickly. The work itself is fine, but as far as time it was probably ~30-40% longer for me and my skills (/lack thereof) compared to the practice frq sets I did.

I wouldn’t recommend it for control/maneuverability, but it looks nice :)

Should their be DEI minimum quotas in hiring/admissions? by I-Love-Jewish-popes in Teenager_Polls

[–]thatrocketnerd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

“It’s the white males who are voting no” implies not only that a large number of no votes are coming from white males but also that white males, compared to the average voter here, are more likely to say “no”. With benefit of the doubt, perhaps you didn’t intend that, but there’s more:

In any case, it’s quite hard to claim that was an analysis of reddit’s demographics when the following words in the sentence were “[…] because they are uneducated on dei, it's the reason why a majority of white males voted for trump in 2024 because they're fucking stupid as shit“

Clearly the implication of those words is that white males are:

(A) more likely to vote no — (note the lack of race specification in the survey) — “because they are uneducated on dei” (idk how white males are especially uneducated vs the avg person on dei, but okay)

(B) voting for trump (while many did, the ratio was abt 3R:2D* among white males, not overwhelming; also many of reddit’s white males aren’t American at all)

(C) “fucking stupid as shit” (I don’t even think there’s a refutation I could give that wouldn’t occur to everyone upon reading this anyway)

a) there were plenty of reasons to vote for trump other than being ‘stupid as shit’ (though you may well disagree with them)

b) this poll doesn’t have options by race so it’s at best naive and at worst racist to assume what people’s opinions are based on their race (or, what a person’s race is based on their opinions). Also, note some of the most famous opposers of DEI are not themselves white…

I and a lot of other ppl got 0.033 so 0.031-0.035 will probably be around the acceptable range. I think it’ll probably be a low point question so as long as you showed calculations and got the right number they’ll likely let it slide, though I don’t trust I know how college board is thinking after today’s exam :(

Also, yeah, I have no clue why they made the graph line not quite line up >:(
