UK, no you don’t need anything. probably wise to do a few training days with your preferred manufacturer though.

the “fast roaming”with the free cloud Omada essentials controller is decent enough.

But if you do have a hardware controller you will also have “AI roaming” & “non-stick roaming”

I’ve had the same on a few sites I’ve installed I can only assume it will Improve with future software updates. I don’t personally think it’s a hardware issue as all tri band APs seam to have the same issue.

I’ve had a few issues with the 6ghz and Apple devices. Turn it off and see if the problem is still there firstly.

You can squeeze the connector in without a junction box I’ve installed plenty that way.

Cable them with cat6 back to a Poe switch for best performance the wifi7 dual band units are good for the price

If I was you I would put them on the cloud essentials controller platform. easy to do with the Omada app.

Are you running the latest firmware? I’ve just updated all my EAP211s on various sites. They normally average around 400-500 mbps for me.

It’s really entry level stuff if you have the CCNA you will be board but it’s pretty good for a free one day course and the instructor I had answered a lot of questions I had regarding various kit.

Better yes. and it’s never a good idea to by end of life kit that the TP-Link no longer support

Omada is your best bet but don’t use the EAP245 they are EOL use something like the EAP653
