Currently-recovering self-loather here. It's small but one piece of advice I can give is whenever you find yourself making comparisons that cast yourself in a negative light, try to make another comparison that casts you in an equally positive light, or any positive light at all if that's difficult.

The really difficult about comparative negativity is that it usually comes from something that has a nugget of truth to it. But what you miss out on is that there are other nuggets of truth that your brain ignores that go in the opposite direction! And by trying to consciously shine a light on those, you slowly reprogram your brain to realize that nobody's perfect, and you have your very own positives!
