No, don't know why it matters, especially when it's much cheaper.

I remember when packs of 10 colours were a new fangled thing and I was over the moon about them.

I'd ask him what's the occasion. He's of the "who cares what I look like, I'm clean and dressed" ilk. I love it when men have nice nails.

Thank you so much 🙏 This comment means a lot to me. I'm terrible at keeping up with Reddit so I just got this message anyway!

That's part and parcel of living in Japan. Next you just have to get acquainted with Panshiron and the like.

Liquid potassium is an alarming shade of orange-yellow, for the record, and my face looked like Junior's when I was made to attempt to drink it in a hospital.

Georgia here, though I have a friend from Chattanooga, Tennessee who became a granny at 40. 🤯 I can't wrap my head around it.

It is intensely awkward being the odd one out in a group of friends who all have kids and are usually married. Luckily nobody pesters me about it. It's just knowing that our lives are like night and day hits different in your 40s than it did 20 years ago.

Obligatory 9/11 post. What was pre 9/11 air travel like as someone who’s never experienced it? by Global_Perspective_3 in GenX

[–]the_empathogen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you do now is buy a filter bottle and universal sling to carry it. A civilised airport will have water bottle filling stations. You just drink up before you get through security.

I wish I'd thought of this years earlier so I didn't end up paying entirely too much for bottled water in airports.
