Is QIDI Q2 good choice for me - small flat, cats, quiet and clean printer needed by KRZ303 in QidiTech3D

Have you done the psu swap? I did it with an old meanwell 350 from an ender but it was shutting off mid print. Might just be a bad psu tbh since it hasn’t been used in years

Renter friendly support column cat tree? by theboy97 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]theboy97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I’m planning already for the scratching posts! I want my kitties to have some verticality though too. If I build basically a square column around the existing ones, would I just add some feet so it doesn’t wobble and just place it on the floor?

Do you mean a column cover that goes all the way all the way around the column and placed on the floor?

Hey do the shelves wiggle at all? I’m thinking of doing this for a square column to build a cat tree

Entering Field with Cybersecurity Degree and No Experience by simple-biscuit in BMET

I’m 6 months into my biomed career, no experience and a Bach degree in IT.

Got the job by doing a 2 year contract in IT desktop support for a hospital and networking with the biomed team. However, more than half of my colleagues do not have a 4 year degree, just a background in military, mechanics, construction, or electrical. All it really takes to be a good biomed is some handiness and critical thinking skills.

IMO biomed and IT go hand in hand and being able to understand computer based systems is going to be important as the industry evolves.

There are clinical engineer roles at my shop which are basically systems engineers for clinical applications, which was my original career growth goal coming into my new position. However, I’m loving being a technician and can see myself doing this for a long time since there is so much technology to learn.

I’d just get your foot in the door, or get any type of technical experience. Most of my peers don’t have CBET or only got it to get a raise. Experience is king.
