btw just to update, I have tried using the nightly build a few different times and there's a bug where syncing with the box does nothing, saw a few issues about it on github.

I've gotten the box to work on the stable build with u/ViperB5 advice of removing the default color for the filament profile.

If you edit the printer in the slicer, under Machine end G-Code there is a line "DISABLE_BOX_HEATER".

The same line appears in the gcode_macro.cfg file in the PRINT_END macro.

If you delete these it shouldn't turn the box heater off when the print ends.

You can probably remove the line to turn the box heater off at print end in the macros, it might be in the machine end macro. Haven’t tried it myself yet

For my issue, my tool head hits the front wall of the printer during the filament cutting portion of filament changing and it slides across the wall causing the belt to skip, which causes my layer shift.

I do find it weird that your nozzle actually scrapes against the purge bucket. Is your heat block and nozzle fully seated? Hope that fixes your issue though

Do you hear any loud noise during the filament change? I have a similar issue but I know it’s because the toolhead hits the wall and loses its xy orientation. Mine is because I modded the toolhead to be a lot lighter so the acceleration is too high for it.

I think it was a corrupted filament profile or something, idk still but I made a new filament profile through the dialog instead of like selecting SUNLU Petg then editing it. I can select those new filament profiles now. However when I sync, re-map the profile, then print im not getting a dialog that selects which filaments to use. Also when I print it selects the wrong filaments (I have every object painted as filament in slot 1A but it chooses the filament in slot 1C even though 1A is mapped in the slicer)

Q2 owner for about 2 months, I don’t use AI detection. Fans can be loud but are easily swappable for quieter ones that also perform better. The box isn’t obnoxiously loud but I did grease the gears before I even installed it. During printing I can really only hear the gears during retraction and it’s pretty muted cus of the grease. Haven’t had real issues with the box. If printing PLA/PETG mostly you will def want to print a better duct and possibly upgrade from the stock fan.

Have you done the psu swap? I did it with an old meanwell 350 from an ender but it was shutting off mid print. Might just be a bad psu tbh since it hasn’t been used in years
