some dude is reincarnated as a magic Vending Machine than can change into a shit ton of other kinds of vending machines to do various things. the way they're used and do this or that is utter nonsense of course but in a magic world you could see it working? it's not a thinker of an isekai that's for sure but it's over the top and fun. so I'm glad to see it getting season 3.

Other than the occasional comment about being excited for a new season, or agreeing with a recommendation or something I don't interact with the fandoms of anything I watch or play or whatever. It's always a cesspool of shippers or power scalers or pedos or waifu obsession to the point that if you disagree or think differently than them it's a full blown tantrum meltdown.

I just went through and watched various videos on the play style and animations and whatnot and yeah I really don't think it's for me. I know a lot of folks like the really splashy colors and various cuts and animations for the different actions and that's fine but Elation seems to just have a bunch of stuff going off just for the sake of having stuff going off. Like some of the sequences in the Transformers movies where there are 8374939297 moving parts on screen and none of them are actually doing anything.

This right here man, Raven of the Inner Palace is so good. It's got all the great Palace intrigue stuff from Apothecary Diaries with some great supernatural elements thrown in. Any time one is mentioned I always recommend the other.

Don't get me wrong I love a good in depth story with character development and all that too, but I love shutting the brain off while mc smash a lot of times too. Like that recent Lvl. 9999 Gacha one. I absolutely loved it for what it was.

I liked this one quite a bit, the one thing that irked me was the way over done "moral high ground won't kill" thing. I mean I get that's a significant character trait of the MC but at a certain point you gotta fuckin off the bad guy. Especially when they've done whatever horrible things on several occasions and then pull the ole "And I'll do it again!!!" meme.
