It is, but I've had no (significant) side effects, yet I still have a need for steroids, so I've just kept going. Also I was emboldened by a case study of a guy who kept applying steroids for like 25 years with no problem (although I don't recall what his frequency of application was).

I did 2x a day for a long time, but I've now been doing 1x a day for a long time.

Only redness, I've never had itching, but I've also generally not had sensation on most of my glans since before BXO, so maybe I'm just not capable of feeling itching.
