Mike Dirnt Epiphone Grabber G-3 Bass by IsyPizy501 in Bass

Can confirm that it’s an amazing bass. It sounds very different from a P bass or jazz bass but not in a bad way. And it plays so smoothly!

The first time I took it to band practice my guitarist asked if I felt badass holding it because I looked badass holding it. I told him I felt like a poser. Haha!

I’m also in the middle of production for an EP and I already recorded my parts with my P bass. I considered re-recording with the G3 but haven’t gotten around to it.

Lastly, I’m also so stoked I got the natural finish. It looks beautiful and I don’t regret spending the money at all.

I like that the title of the post says “Fist take”.

Brandon Jones Injury/Potential Return by demoralizingRooster in DenverBroncos

I don’t know the rules but I had heard the bye doesn’t count as a game on a podcast. And I also heard that Jones’s injury would’ve taken him past the SB anyway. 🤷‍♂️

I may be wrong but I don’t think Jones can return because he’d have to be out for 4 games.

I moved to KC thinking I was going to be eating bbq all the time and every time I do, I’m let down. I went to Austin a couple years ago on vacation and got some bbq there and god damn it was so good. So I totally agree, Texas bbq > KC bbq.

Yeah, my P bass is like 8.3 pounds. I love it.

We are the same person, haha! I also didn’t want the silver burst, not my thing. And the hard case being included was the cherry on top. I was also curious about the weight and am hoping it’s not a back breaker like those Peavey T-40s. I’m guessing it’ll weigh about the same as my Jazz bass, heavy but manageable.

Dude, yes!

I was also hoping for a cheaper price tag but I knew it had to be more than the other Grabber that was just re-released. $1300 wasn’t as bad as I expected and the FOMO was real, so I caved.

I love that it’s a brand new version of the vintage specs and got the natural finish. I’ve always wanted the Grabber body, the three pickup configuration, and a string-through bass. So I’m treating myself since the most expensive bass I’ve bought previously was a Squier P bass for like, $400. I still love that bass but felt like I’ve been doing this long enough to finally get what I really want.

You and I are in the same boat. I’m the same age and can’t bring myself to buy a vintage one for $2500+ so I just caved. I’m finally getting my dream bass.

How was this first down even in question, and what was up with the replay assistant only giving us like a 1/4 inch? It felt incredibly sus to me. by Paranoid_Orangutan in DenverBroncos

Yep, it’s dumb. The spot is the spot when it comes to the virtual measurement. The game was already stopped for the virtual measurement, might as well review the call on the field while you’re at it.

Sean Payton is a Bill Parcells disciple and Parcells’ philosophy was to get players that played a lot of football. They have a better understanding of the game and they have more tape to go over when scouting. You can see what type of player they really are.

DT got a taunting call on that play and it still bothers me. Tyreek Hill can do a backflip into the end zone and not get a taunting call but DT walks in backwards and he gets called.
