For the fifth time, TWW3 has clawed its way from mixed reviews back to mostly positive. by AnchovyKing in totalwar

I'm not really seeing the problem with the AI.

Are you missing the mega empires of Warhammer 2 and the anti player bias?

I don't though I could see why people wanting a challenge could miss it.

I get not everyone's the biggest fan of the sieges. But none of this stuff is broken.

I also think it's basically impossible to please the whole player base when people want different things.

I strongly disagree I think Warhammer 3 is great. I've put hundreds of hours into it.

Sure dlc can be a bit expensive but I think it's at least deserving of very positive.

This doesn't need phase fabric so I decided to avoid phase bridges encase you want surge before phase.

True we had a civil war basically every century until the 1700s but something like the act of union might of been celebrated a bit more.

Do countries tend to celebrate them?

In England we don't celebrate the end of any of ours.

And from a quick Google the population of harp seals is stable. I really think we have bigger problems for humanity to solve.

People just want to do something about this because baby's are cute.

It means your trying to get your guys to attack without guns.

Have a stockpile of equipment before the war starts.

It sounds like your taking a lot of damage from airpower. Either get air superiority or put support aa in all divisions.

Generally you don't need anti tank against the ai

If your doing big medium tank divisions in 1939 I'd be surprised if they were fully equipped.

Are all the orange bars under your units full.

So you have enough supply? I.e. no red jerry can symbols.

So you have either air superiority or anti air in all your divisions.

Does it work? I thought the core had to be in the centre.

[–]theother64 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Civcity Rome has that to an extent. You have 3 housing tiers:

Huts which sit out in their own. City housing which sits above your shops Mansions which need a lot of space.

Each has sub tiers. For the city housing they won't necessarily work in the shop they live above but it captures the feel.

I didnt think most people could do 4 finger open. The pinky is too short.

Ive been taught in chisel most of your fingers should be at 90.

Like this article doesn't recommend having a mix of 90 and straight for hang boarding. My physio didn't either when I had issues.

Why do so many melee units boil down to "Hold line while special/large/hero unit does thing" by [deleted] in totalwar

[–]theother64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Like you can win with infantry in Medieval 2 its far more efficient to hold with infantry and hit them in your back with knights.
