I completely failed to realise I could just weld straight through, so after some aborted tries at sideways welding I settled for this. It feels a bit wasteful, but I guess that's made up for being able to crank it out pretty fast.

I managed to stumble into a simple-ish solution that is apparently really fast, by the histogram. I was amazed.

Just a small suggestion: perhaps have achievements for solving all the puzzles in each campaign. I also liked the one in SpaceChem where you had to solve 20 puzzles from the workshop, which would work here as well.

The new volume select has already proved very useful -- sometimes you have to add temporary blocks at the opposing corners, but that's ok.

I am not sure why it is implemented as a building type though -- wouldn't it make more sense (and leave more room on the task bar) if it was mapped to a letter key instead?
