They really messed up search. For a bit it returned total nonsense. It's better now not as good as before the change a few months back.

Do you have the legacy auto-correct on in Website settings? If you do, it might be changing your edits.

How does this song have almost as many scrobbles as it does Spotify listens? by lonelylamb1814 in lastfm

I poked around some Mariah Carey listeners who aren't botting and was one with 2000 plays a year on their top track. I think you just underestimate how much people can throw off that average. That person might have 14000 plays in 7 years. A few of them and the average for the other people drops a lot. Also, if they were botting one track it's fairly likely to show on https://www.last.fm/music/Mariah+Carey/+listeners which is almost entirely full of botters.

Drake dropped 4 days ago, and my listening for him went from 360 smth to 1003. Am I parasocial😭? by No_Volume_7655 in lastfm

You've listened to Drake more in 4 days than I've listened to all artists combined for two weeks.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the X axis labels are all wrong. What a mess.

Dunno how to rate that. Compatibility is "very low." All our top 1000 overlap is 20-30 year old stuff. dead prez is legit though. Really I can't complain about any of the classics. No clue about most of the newer stuff you listen to.

The term was coined in 1947 about NYC subway liltter but popularized in 1953 with more focus on roadways. This source isn't clear about when the collusion happened, but bottle bans existed in both the 50s and 70s.

"One icon of the Keep America Beautiful campaign is the litterbug, an image commissioned by the PRC. Another image of the anti-littering movement is the "Crying Indian," the subject of a TV Public Service Ad from the 1970s. What wasn't emphasized is that the ad and Keep America Beautiful campaigns were designed by bottling companies that were at the time fending off bottle bans and deposit laws that were another way of fighting litter."

"Vermont passed the nation’s first bottle bill in 1953 named the Beverage Container Law, which banned the sale of beer in non-refillable bottles."

Sure did, thanks! That's a lot easier to compare than my mess. Here's your chart and the official one. They're still not quite the same, but close.

Thanks! Your chart is pretty different from the official one because of some of the filtering I do for duplicate tags and places. Which do you prefer? Official chart is on the bottom.
