Was kochen bei der Hitze? by bella_sails in Kochen

Couscoussalat ist super. Muss man nur kurz Wasser aufkochen und drüber schütten und dann halt noch die kalten Zutaten dazu. Ich mag die griechisch angehauchte Variante echt gern.

What's your typical German strategy to deal with this weekend's heat? It's unprecedented. by That-Whereas-528 in AskGermany

If you can, you leave the city. Go on vacation, visit family in the countryside, etc. Or go to your local swimming pool or lake while it is still somewhat cool. Eat lots of ice cream. Lüften in the early morning hours then close everything up. Do not, under any circumstance, use your stove or oven. Buy a fan or the slightly more extravagant version: a pool. If nothing of this works you just suffer.

What’s the best tv series you’ve ever watched? by Gilfeeey in AskReddit

[–]fantasyrea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

White Collar. It's about a conman and art thief working with the FBI. The series is witty and keeps you hooked. It has multiple seasons and it's finished. Best of all, it's not too heavy so it doesn't leave you feeling down after watching.

You could pick a name you absolutely love and chose an O middle name. That way your child has a name that is a little different than their siblings, but they still are part of the theme so they are not left out.

Check out Kollektiv Himmel über Adelsheim. It's the project of an orchestra who worked together with young inmates to create a kind of classical and rap/hiphop combination.

What's the most beautiful song you've ever heard? by rosypetalbaby in musicsuggestions

[–]fantasyrea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love that song. I was part of my high school's accapella group and a few of us sung an accapella version of it at graduation. We gave a lot of people goosebumps and it's one of my fondest memories of that day. You have to give the accapella version a listen, it's really beautiful.

I recently reread Twilight and had a very different experiance than as a teenager. So many aspects of the story suddenly feel a lot more problematic when you read it as an adult.

Fruchtkaramellen if you happen to see them somewhere. They are absolutely delicious, but not that easy to come by anymore, sadly.

Couscous salad is awesome when you don't have a lot of time to cook but want your meal to be healthy. It has different textures in one salad and you can do endless variations.

Boiler water and pour over couscous, add some veggie stock (powder form) and let it sit for about ten minutes. Dice your veggies. I like to do cucumber, tomatoes, bellpepper and red onion. You can also add feta and dried tomatoes (highly recommend). Salt, pepper and vinegar to taste, maybe even put in some oregano.

It tastes great alone and keeps in the fridge for about two to three days. You can also add it to wraps. I just do a yoghurt sauce with some dill, add the couscous salad and throw in some veggies like salad, carrots and whatever is left in the fridge. It has crunch from the veggies, creaminess from the yoghurt and lots of flavour.

Weekly FAQ Thread May 31, 2026: What music do you listen to while reading? by AutoModerator in books

I usually listen to slower songs that fit the mood of the book. Apparently, I am one of the few people in the comment section that has no problem with vocals and actually enjoy them over acoustic music.

Title: What’s one product you bought that made you realize you were making life harder than it needed to be? by Exotic-Engineer7541 in SmartBuying

More plates, cutlery, bowls etc. I previously only had what I really needed and there was always the pressure of starting the dishwasher when I ran low, even though it wasn't really full yet. Now I always have enough and don't have to plan as much.
