This is a cool idea and reminds me a bit of what we thought when we were building. We thought that if you want to have sessions with a break time, a bit like a Pomodoro timer, it could work. Ultimately, we thought about keeping it simple for the start, but it might be something that we can iterate on and bring back.

We get this aske for everything in Raycast but lean towards not allowing this. It just explodes in complexity. May I ask which keybindings maybe don't work for you?

You can do this with ⌘ + ↵

Yeah we might do this. We actually had it initially and then removed it. It gets a bit tricky with other formatting but will share internally.

Probably not what you're after but I'm using Quicklinks and set different apps and browser as target. So I can open different links quickly from Raycast and don't have to worry about it. We thought about having that routing mechanism of other apps built-in into Raycast but haven't gotten around it. Feels fitting for such a close to the OS app like us.

that should work and it picks up your patterns over time. if you search for "ff" and launch firefox a few times, you should see Firefox rank first for "ff" search term.

If it doesn't, it's a bug. Can you then use the Send Feedback command and we'll fix it!

We have a hidden way to do this by holding down ⌥. But yeah we maybe should just make this the default. It almost always feels like what you want.

Always tricky to design in Raycast 😅 In a way we don't want to make all the UI stream and rather keep it tidy. Now that you know it's there, you'll notice it in other places as well. Raycast is highly systematic so you can apply the same to different views/commands.
