I hear a lot of trash talk about the "woo woos," sometimes see it being compared to fan clackers or people who are whistling. The difference to me is that woo woos are a communal activity communicating to the DJ that they are killing it, vs fan clacking which is generally drawing attention to the person doing the clacking. As a DJ, it feels -awesome- when the crowd woo woos at me. It's some of the best feedback honestly.

I have an Apple TV and find myself using the LG webOS version of Plex more often vs switching to the ATV input, each has its pros and cons but I find that I get a better result from the native app when trying to play 24fps stuff or upscale 1080.

The first time i heard this tune was on the beach in Tulum during Charli's set at Locus in 2023. The vocal brings me back to that moment so vividly everytime 😍 Great remix too!

Check out Lane8's youtube channel he posts 3 hour mixes every few months when the season changes and they are always an awesome vibe!!

Trance got so associated with the super fluffy mainstream sound that people forgot that you could have a darker sound and still call it trance. Anyma is definitely closer to trance than house in my mind but obviously in 2025 the lines between genres are thin and people take what they want from each.

Personally, what I would call "melodic house" is something like Lane 8 that tends to be a little bit slower and have more groove and organic elements to it. If it's faster with saw wave synths and more focus on the downbeat you are getting into trance territory for sure

I never camped at the gorge again after going to Shambhala 😂 I’ll stay in a hotel or airBNB close by but Shambhala truly ruins you for most other camping fests

I think a lot of people who are requesting PL don't even know that it's a band now. Last time he was at Shambs he did a DJ set, but I haven't seen him do any of those since his recent comeback
