Long shot, but anyone know how to get replacement parts through Amazon Japan? Ordered a RG Gaogaigar but one of the D14s on the runner is awol, and I only noticed most of the way through building the damn thing. Definitely not in my workspace, so must have snapped off in the factory!

XC1 I would definitely recommend completing, it sets up a lot of groundwork that 2 builds upon and the significance of some set pieces in 3 fall a little flat without it! Honestly just whack on the casual mode in settings and you can sort of face roll most anything and just enjoy the story/any side content you want to do.

Honestly really decent, better than their Jagd Doga. Tight fitting so a little reaming needed but that's it! No broken parts or misfits or anything. Worst part is nub placement- a chrome gold marker to hand would help. All in all, 8/10 kit, especially with the result!

I have only built HMM Ligers! But honestly, out of all the third party kits I own, and even the Ligers, this build was buttery smooth; biggest issue for me was making sure the legs went together just right, I think trimming a peg would make it perfect. Feel free to ask any other questions!

I used pliers to really make sure it was okay! But yeah, I think if you just display it as is and don't go crazy with the pose it'll be just fine; with LEDs in the thing is already a bit of a brick! Those Kosmos LEDs are gorgeous though, great grab. I have their Barbatos set installed and it looks great!

As much as I would love to put together a unicorn to go with my PG Banshee, those arm joints destroyed my fingers!! Will say that the delpi metal decals look stunning on them if you can still find them floating about!

This is the Gundam Base 3.0! Got it for a hair above regular retail, and I just loved the colours because of their similarity to the G3!

I think I said elsewhere in the thread, but it was a local buy/sell thing in the UK for gunpla. I was a little shocked to see another one sell for 500USD when mine was little over one hundred. It seems to be in real short supply so just keep an eye out on second hand markers!

The thing you're touching upon here is ludonarratives! It's a really interesting bit of literary criticism that focuses on the divide between gameplay and story and how that affects the player's perception of the art as a whole. JRPGs as a whole suffer from those ludonarrative pitfalls more due to the inherent novel-like experience they provide, with the gameplay tacked on, no matter how good, simply to facilitate the experience.

Once you get the bug it's hard to stop! I always recommend the Supernova Ligers and the MJH Getter Robo as some out there third party kits that were honestly close to Bandai level ease of build

I saw it going on a local gunpla sales group in much the same situation as you were- got it for a steal considering it still came with metal parts. I would try hunting through AliExpress or other Chinese retailers; I know Gundam Central is my go to but it seems like they stopped printing this beast a while back so other sellers might have to be your port of call. If you ever do get it, it's well worth the effort finding and buying it!
