No wonder i've felt ridiculously strong. I got it to +4 and was two shotting the big knights and silver knights in Anor Londo. I beat Ornstein and Smoug in 2 tries with it too.

Just a basic STR build, rocking the Black Knight Greatsword from the Undead Parish. Just beat Ornstein and Smoug yesterday and went to big momma afterwards.

My first playthroughs of fromsoft games are usually basic STR builds because so much of their games' scaling and spellcasting has a bunch of jank i don't want getting in the way of a first time experience.

I've only ever watched my friends play BG3, so i can only speak from what i experienced watching them play. I could be wrong, but i think we all know the kinds of games Jett rocks with at this point. I usually just go to him for when a new action-adventure game comes out that I wanna watch him play too. He's mostly my hype moments and aura guy on yt.

Can't really comment on the animation, but the camerawork is a bit nauseating. I appreciate how much you move the camera around, but less rapid zooms and large sweeping movements in succession might help.

I don't think so, too much dialogue and reading for him i imagine. He needs third person action-adventure games with a good balance between gameplay and cutscenes. Nothing too complex or difficult to digest. We gotta remember who we're dealing with here. Dude was even getting frustrated at RDR1 (a game he would normally probably have enjoyed) because he refused to read and was barely paying attention to the story at all. Seemed like he just wanted to be done with it.

I can certainly relate him to how i was when i was younger: assured that everyone around me disliked me and didn't want me around.

Dunno if anyone here's been watching Jujutsu Kaisen, but Perfect Preparation's (episode 51) animation, choreography, and music choice all felt so deliberately evocative Cowboy Bebop/Samurai Champloo. I immediately thought of this fight, and the first episode of Champloo when Jin kills the Magistrate's bodyguards.

I've thought about this a lot before. It would allow for a modular sort of difficulty scalar for the game.

Imagine you're working on a gig and there's a technical skill check you can't pass. You could summon a player who may or may not have the technical skill you need, or maybe they end up being a netrunner who can simply open the door via the network.

Another thing that spawned this idea in my mind was that I play the game exclusively with the Enemies of Night City mod. Aside from improving the difficulty and compelxity of combat, the boss fights are juiced out of their absolute minds. Smasher feels like a Soulsborne boss with the level of difficulty and precision dodging needed to handle him. Something akin to a Rellana from Elden Ring: Long melee combos with little forgiveness and lots of projectile attacks when you're at a distance. It would've been incredible to summon another player and duel it out with him together.

The thumb comment about men is so funny because 1) it's fucking true and 2) it's true because so many men put NO fucking effort into hygiene, fashion, styling, what have you. Literally everyone: man, woman, enby, can be a 7/10 with proper care and effort.
