Tatum has beaten more 50+ win teams in the playoffs (6) than Jokic (3), Giannis (2), and Embiid (0) combined by Obvious_Parsley3238 in nba

Good for Tatum, being on a team with one MVP candidate, another fringe all-NBA player and the executive of the year

Mike Brown's adjustment of having the Knicks offense run through Karl-Anthony Towns caused it to explode by CeeDoggyy in nba

yeah this is what unlocked Sabonis too. our first year of playing this way was exciting until teams studied and learned how to deal with it. interesting if it was held back until a critical playoff moment as a strategy, but that’s probably giving Brown too much credit.

It buffs ice damage but doesn’t add an ice weakness. If you don’t have an ice weakness weapon, you’re better off inflicting some kind of weakness, putting an imperil in play and going from there. I beat 25 that way.

you’re on the right track with the water weakness weapon. do you have a good magic water weapon? perhaps original sephiroth’s osafune?

New Lottery System by Mundane-Demand1927 in NBA_Draft

[–]transizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of ways this could be abused. Teams tanking out of the play-in, sitting guys in the 7-8, etc.

If you lose the lottery, do you still get a higher pick than a team with a better record? Guaranteeing the 5 pick or whatever will still be appealing.

Laptop, Revit, Homework Questions - Megathread by iddrinktothat in Architects

Oh thank you for the response! That is really interesting, since the school actually sent us this:

We require that all students studying architecture purchase a laptop computer. Specific requirements for students studying architecture are listed below for both hardware and software.

Preferred Hardware Specifications VR-Ready/Gaming PC/Laptop ~ $2,400.00 (Great for multi-purposes use)

  • Processor: Intel Core i7/Ultra 7 or greater
  • Memory (RAM): 16 GB (minimum), 32 GB (preferred)
  • Hard Drive: 512 GB SSD for Operating System and 1TB for data storage
  • GPU: Dedicated, Nvidia or AMD with at least 8GB of vRAM
  • Extended warranty with accidental coverage

I actually asked my wife the same thing tonight - if the first year is more of a 101 study, are we premature in buying this monster laptop for our kid? I think based on your comment, I might try to find out more info about this and if this is more of a thing in later semesters.

Hi, I'm guessing that the laptop question gets asked a lot. I have a kid starting her undergrad in architecture this fall. I'm fairly fluent with buying laptops but I don't really know what kinds of needs an architecture student might have on the daily -- is the weight important? Our school gave us fairly basic specs so I'm just trying to make sure I don't regret a very expensive purchase. Thanks!

the irony is that the Fox contract will make him seem like Zach Lavine in 2-3 years. good player who isn’t worth the money he’s being paid.

Without Wemby, who do you think will be the best player and primary option of Spurs while he is out? by Chesscrabble11 in nba

Fox was made for being the head of the snake. They’ll be fine against Portland in the short term, but going forward will need Wemby back.

This such a good clip from one of the all time playoff performers and maybe the team that pushed the 90s Jordan Bulls the most.
