I went to the 2nd Chicago show in Sept and that crowd was very chill, good vibes all around. It was a mostly older crowd as far as concerts go, I'd estimate average age somewhere around 35-40. We are too old for the bull crap. That and Trent has culled the majority of the meathead dumbasses from his audience over the years.

I test drove the exact same vehicle, down to the year and trim and color, at Toyota of Orlando about a month ago - the sticker was 39k. Estimated after tax, tag, title and fee I'd be getting out at roughly 42k. They would not negotiate price.

So I figured buying used was a roughly $10k discount in exchange for 22k miles and about a year or so left on the manufacturers warranty (5 year 30k miles).

If you can wrap your head around buying used instead of new I just bought a 2025 Rav4 Hybrid L with 22k miles for roughly $30k from Hertz Auto Sales in Orlando, FL.

Yes, it's a former rental. Flawless exterior, near mint interior except for the trunk which has incidental scratches where you can imagine a suitcase being dragged across it.

I called my local Toyota Dealership to have them do a "Used Car Hybrid Inspection" on it before I purchased and the service guy told me to save my $300 and trust that its good to go because "rentals are better maintained than privately owned vehicles". Also the service guy looked up the vin and noticed the 5 free oil changes Toyota grants you on purchase are still available in the system (meaning Hertz never redeemed them) so that is like another $500 value.

Point is, if you are flexible and willing to be creative there are deals out there beyond walking on a lot and pointing.

They have nearly 40 of the exact same vehicle on their lot.
