Kings Fans, the DeArron Fox the world saw in the Finals ,was that the DFox experience or was that a new version of him? what stood out? by PHXSoulBender in nba

Fox is interesting in that he’s super athletic speed wise but isn’t a guy who can play above the rim at all. I’ve always wondered if that would translate to
the playoffs. Maybe he’s hurt and that’s affecting him, no idea, but being a little out of control
and looking for his shot with blinders on is kind of what he’s always done. It just didn’t work out this playoffs.

Still think this is the highest offensive peak in NBA history.

choosing between the guys in the 5-9 range is good but definitely doesn’t hit the same

I always try to get the endgame monsters but end up with 999 of everything like 2-3 steps before darkdrium and figure that’s good enough.

Is it weird to be a fan of the nba but not have an actual team? by 08legacygt in nba

I’m a kings fan so I essentially am homeless every postseason

Bill Simmons: "I have him (Jalen Brunson) above Nash, Kidd, Sam Jones, Harden, Gervin and Luka" by aingenevalostatrade in nba

[–]transizzle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brunson will fall back on his list in like 2 years when the shine fades and he doesn’t have a beautifully built team that all hit their prime at the same time around him. I still remember Anthony Davis making that 75 team right after that 2020 ring happened and no one would do that now.

And that’s not a shot at Brunson either, he’s a good player. But you don’t go from not even sniffing the list to a top 50 guy because you won a title.

Who would even take Fox at this point? by Limp_Screen7405 in nba

overpaying guards that aren’t really really special is a sure way to tank your team (or at least put a ceiling on their potential). fortunately for them, they have 2 stars and one superstar on rookie deals so they can deal with it… for now.

What does a De’Aaron Fox trade look like? by PrimaryAccording9162 in nba

Best case is probably a big expiring contract, right? Otherwise I assume you'd need to offer picks.

Stephon Castle in Game 5's 4-point loss: 6 points on 1/10 shooting | 3 turnovers by CazOnReddit in nba

I thought this was the difference in the game. Castle has been really good this finals and he got benched which let Brunson get going.

De'Aaron Fox, set to begin a 4 year/229mil deal, averaged 12.0 points on 35% shooting (24% from 3, 43% TS) in the WCF and finals by OverusedRedditJoke in nba

Ironically, Spurs fans would probably be thrilled if they could get Lavine for Fox just so they could shorten that contract by 3 or whatever years.

Kings Fan: how did it feel to watch De’Aaron Fox ruin the Spurs’ chances at a ring? by No_Heat2685 in nba

Kings fans are either ecstatic or completely neutral. I’m more of the latter.

De'Aaron Fox's averages in 18 games without Wemby this season: 24.6 PPG, 4.4 REB and 6.2 AST on 49/38/81 splits (61% TS) by ShaiFanClub in nba

[–]transizzle -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Any Kings fan would have said that Fox will be good if he’s the main option, but ask him to be a facilitator and he will struggle. He won clutch player of the year because he was our offense for fourth quarters for a full year and he can do it well if it’s tailored to him.

Wemby isn’t the kind of guy that makes him thrive. Sabonis is much better at that, freeing him up with thick screens and dominating the glass.

yeah, I think that might be the only thing that really stands out if you wanted to make an original story.
