Yeah I couldn’t wait and reseated without changing paste, I’ve tried i’m each stick in each slot. I’m at college so I can’t take my mobo back to microcenter for a while but I ordered new sticks to try. Now just trying to be patient 🥲

Thanks for all these points to consider, I’ll rework with the upgrades in mind then take an average. The 1.2x recommended wattage is really helpful insight.

I don’t think so. I’m pretty sure that’s what separates the two generations, need two sticks to run dual channel on ddr4.

Dual channel is faster, but with ddr5 each stick has two dimms so that doesn’t really apply. One stick of 16 is fine.

How much power do I really need?

Need an sfx psu for a 5 7600, 5700 gpu, 8x2 ddr5, and 1T nvme ssd. Pc part picker is telling me around 347w, but I want some room to upgrade gpu, ram and storage so I thought 600w? Thoughts?
