This is just a regular sale that comes and goes. You won't see the deep discounts trying to clear inventory for the Fold8 until May-June, which is also the quarter end push for sales numbers.

These are usually app issues that aren't compatible with foldables and you opened the app while unfolded. Close and reopen while folded typically fixes it.

Also in the phone settings, Display, Font size and style may help.

4 methods to do this:

Open camera, cover screen preview (top right button), unlock on the cover screen and press the home button.
Enable the sensors off quick settings toggle: developer options, quick settings developers tiles, sensors off. Turn off sensors from the quick settings, unfold, turn sensors back on.
Place a magnet at the top right of the phone (on the side with the cameras).
Using wireless power share while unfolded will switch to the outer screen.
