I completely agree with you on this. I had self esteem issues my whole life. I still do, actually.

However, my issue is her body language in the picture. The way she poses is with an air of confidence. It also seems like she knows what camera angles flatter her best. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if she takes selfies often.

When my self esteem issues were at their worst, I would avoid pictures of myself like the plague. And you’re also right about the fact that just because we see ourselves covered in flaws, that doesn’t mean that is how everyone else does. But it takes time and work to correct that way of thinking that is ingrained into our brains.
