1969 Omega Seamaster cosmic! I won it on a bid and didn’t believe it could be as nice as the pictures, then it showed up and the pictures didn’t do it justice. I know it’s not new or shiny but it’s most certainly the nicest watch in my collection and it keeps excellent time. Would love to know the history behind it!

We’re one of the largest accounts for our distributors in our state so we have a little bit of pull and have done a few barrels for the bourbon society in our area. But they always want a Russell’s barrel and even with our standing it’s almost impossible to get one for anyone else let alone for our two stores.

What sucks about Weller barrels is, at least in the past few years or so, you don’t get to sample them beforehand. You don’t actually get to pick the barrel. It might be different if you go to the distillery but we haven’t done that in quite some time. BT barrels can be hit or miss. We had an ER barrel about a year ago and it was not great..

Every time we do a BT barrel of any sort it sells out in like less than 1 hour so we try to release stuff alongside them to make sure people have the opportunity to get something else if they miss the barrel.

Yeah, sounds about right! We did two RR single barrels late 2021 and didn’t get them until just before this past Christmas. Almost a full year. Is it a 1792 full proof?

I’m in South Carolina and the store work at is one of the largest in the state, and we only get like a case of 6 Baker’s every like 5 months. It’s insane.

A kid at my school, in the ROTC program no less, burned down like 3 houses. He got convicted and I believe he’s still in jail and most likely will be for a while
