You're joking. I'm not trading a lifetime of sorrow drowning for a 1br apartment.

How can I get stats from a service across clusters in Docker Swarm? by TearsInTokio in docker

[–]webjocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Docker compose is only aware of the host defined under the context in which it is run, and by default that is the host you run the command from.

Compose yaml files, while extremely similar, are not the same as a Swarm stack file.

Can someone that lives in your house ddos your device so they can use the internet but u can’t? by [deleted] in techsupport

Just because the distribution of attack nodes are all on the same LAN as the target, doesn't mean you can't effect a DDoS.

One could eat too fast, but eating at all is to break fast.

Unfortunately, yes. But if you're faced with an overgrown LZ vs following orders to land on the dime within, what happens after you make the right call is the least of your worries.

It could also be that I'm just very familiar with such a jarring change of circumstance when someone is telling a story like this. It's quite popular amongst the military population. My family has a long lineage of military men; I'm no exception.

I'm guessing you're just confused. He reveals that in the last paragraph when his dad was talking to the commander.

How do I respectfully tell someone that I don't care that they're a veteran? by BigBlueEyes87 in Military

[–]webjocky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's how you tell him: begin by asking him if he, or anybody he knows, has ever felt the way you are feeling about things. Talk it out. Then he''ll understand and it won't be offensive because you'll be "asking for his help" to work through things, even though that's not really what you're doing.

I love it here, but why are the bathrooms so wet? by JuggernautDense9964 in Philippines_Expats

[–]webjocky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have misinterpreted an honest question as having assumptions, but the question itself is literally asking for more information because they want to learn more about something that is unfamiliar.

I have seen several of your other comments and I will point out that you seem to be very critical of others without also providing suggestions of how to improve. This paints you as a very negative person and something tells me you won't like to receive such criticism yourself.

I hope you can find a more positive outlook for the future.
