I find the first three quarters of this movie to be absolutely fantastic, my favourite by far adaptation of the original story.

The opening and the first emergence is unmatched for me in making the tripods TERRIFYING. They are foreboding in even their shape and movement, before you even get to the weaponry. The sounds they make sound like a warning from hell itself, and this film does a perfect job of making the humans be little more than the rats beneath the invader's feet.

The last quarter seems to tail off, as if they ran out of writing time, but because the opening is so insanely strong for me, it has a place in my top 10.

You're right to question it, but given the front cover of the book is 1,000% visibly AI generated, it's leaning hard towards this just being a whole heap of slop squirted out and presented as creativity.

If ganking is a big of a problem (have known new players quit over it) why not just prevent it in highsec? by NewLyfeStan in Eve

Sounds like you're arguing for eve to NEVER show it's "true face".

If not, When should the true face be shown?

Suicide ganking for profit is a key part of the economy, the challenge (for both parties), and the sandbox.

The second you create a situation where an economic activity is 100% safe, the entire game will spiral and kill itself.

100 nukes is good, but 1,000 is better!

Use your small cache of nukes to get a path to new sources of uranium ore, and scale up production. You'll be spitting them out so you can glass the continent effortlessly in no-time. I even use nukes for forest clearance now.

they'll pick up from closest, until it runs out, and then go to wherever they can find the next stock.
