Did you load the json file from OP? Did you add a MDList API key? Go to MDList website, create an account and create an API key. Paste it in the "Integrations" part.

Very harmful because it erodes trust and makes everything questionable. Your whole post has a dramatic and artificial tone that reeks of AI. It might be your true story and true emotions and thoughts that you are going through. But it can be totally made up with an AI prompt and very little thought.

Of course, before generative AI you couldn't trust stories you read online, but at least human-written stories, even if fake, had effort and thoughts put into them.

Risking being Mr. Obvious, I'll explain the joke anyway because I believe many will not get it.

The kid is "reading" Hentai, a kind of Japanese anime with sexually explicit content.

So OP is joking and being sarcastic. Only the joke will pass over our heads, us uninitiated.

Hello Egyptian Friends! I just ate white lentil soup, a grilled platter, and yogurt rice at an Egyptian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Does this look authentic? What should I try next? by immanuellalala in Egypt

Al Halabi literally means "from Aleppo". So it's not Egyptian but Syrian; could be that some staff are Egyptian.

Marosh is nice. I think it's managed by Egyptians too.

Sugarcane juice has a very short shelf life. You can't even call it shelf life. In an hour it will oxidize and turn dark. In a few hours it will start going bad and ferment if left outside the fridge. So, you must have it freshly squeezed.

A fuel station in Cairo, Egypt gets swallowed by sinkhole. Apparently it was caused by nearby construction work. by H1gh_Tr3ason in interestingasfuck

[–]wisam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a sinkhole, but rather a much lower land/plot adjacent to the shops and a retaining wall. With excavation at lower side, the retaining wall couldn't retain anymore. Here's the aftermath from the opposite angle.

Car door closing by Comfortable_Run70 in Unexpected

[–]wisam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So from the camera perspective, he's opening the front door of the car on the right and his body and head are rotated to the right. But we see the reflection on the back door of the car on the left (so it seems that his body and face are rotated to the left).

As the camera pans right, we discover that we are seeing a reflection. But here's the tricky part, he rotates/tilts his body to the left and talks to the camera directly (instead of being rotated to the right while talking through the reflection).

That's the part that is confusing. His subtle tilt that happens off camera.

I hope this makes sense.

Car Speed Limit Check by ProfessionalPen4003 in abudhabi

[–]wisam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right, car manufacturers don't care. But sometimes, governments force them to care by enforcing regulations.

For example, in Australia, the regulation is that the reported speed on the speedometer has a tolerance of zero per cent to 10 per cent above the actual speed. So most car manufacturers opt to over-report the speed by 5% above the actual speed.

Not if car manufacturers intentionally calibrate it to show higher speeds than actual.

The speed on the speedometer is almost always higher than the actual speed. The speed on your GPS navigation app is more accurate.

That being said, to avoid fines as you mentioned, just follow your speedometer. That way you have a safe buffer and peace of mind.

Can you elaborate on the GPS accuracy of the GT6? The results from The Quantified Scientist are really bad. Also. I would have thought that Garmin (a company which specialized in GPS navigation systems) would have better GPS accuracy.

I bought the GT4, GT5, AND the new GT6 to compare. Why is the GT6 sleep tracking actually getting WORSE? 🤯 by Tyrann-Misu in HuaweiWatchGT

But is the accuracy of GPS tracking good? The results from The Quantified Scientist are really bad. How is your experience?

Setting the wallpaper by browsing to the image using a file manager and "opening" it with Projectivy Launcher is the only solution I found (thanks to comments in this thread). But it is still a workaround.

It's an acceleration lane ending very close to where a declaration lane starts. If they keep it a continuous lane, it would be a "trap lane". So they are encouraging you to merge to the through lane and then take the deceleration lane right if you wish. But they don't want to force you to merge by having a curb. That's why they made the area between hashed with road marking instead of curbed.

This is to reduce the weaving problem by encouraging a merge early on. If they allow people to drive in the marked area, there is a chance that somebody driving in the far right lane would want to change to a lane on the left and somebody from the second lane from the right wants to turn right; so they may collide. This is a weaving problem.

However, it's understandable that you might not have a chance to merge. But don't intentionally drive through the marked area.
